NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nashville Yards, a 19-acre mixed use development, is taking shape, and at the heart of the development sits a new venue — The Pinnacle.

Construction for the venue is on track to be completed by December. Officials said the space can hold up to 4,500 people, both seated and standing, for concerts, conventions, and events.

On Friday, Sept. 20, tickets for the first announced concerts at the venue go on sale. Artists slated to perform include The Turnpike Troubadours, Journey, T-Pain, Russell Dickerson, Zeds Dead, Megan Moroney, and Trivium & Bullet for my Valentine.

“Being in the room and hearing that first cord from a guitar and the audience response, that really is what I’m looking forward to,” said Mike DuCharme, regional vice president for AEG Presents.

The entertainment group AEG Presents said more concerts will by announced on Monday, Sept. 23. The group also advised folks to keep your eyes out for a grand opening event as well.

The Pinnacle also has a rooftop space that can hold up to 400 people. It’s located along 9th Avenue N. between Church and Commerce Street in the middle of Nashville Yards.

“Our partners at Southwest Value Partners refer to it as the heartbeat of what that development is,” said DuCharme.

“We’re just excited to be partners with the tenants that are moving in,” said Katie Millar, general manager of The Pinnacle. “They’ve really been thoughtful about who’s going to be part of Nashville Yards and I think those future collaborations for us is going to lead to a lot of great opportunities for all the businesses including ours.”
