NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A massive crowd down gathered on Broadway in downtown Nashville Thursday night for a free Keith Urban concert.
Urban is known for performing pop-up shows from time to time, including at the Nashville International Airport a few weeks ago.
His new album “High” was released at midnight and Urban gave Nashville an early taste of what’s to come.
The album has 12 new songs, including a duet with Lainey Wilson.
“We saw him in Green Bay and he’s such a cool guy. He loves his wife, he is wonderful,” explained one concert-goer.
Plus some fans just happened upon the concert and joined in the fun.
“We actually went to get some ice cream and said ‘oh, I wonder what’s going on over here?’ It was a big surprise. we’ve been waiting for about two hours to see him, so we’re ready,” said one fan.
The Australian-born country music star lives in Middle Tennessee with his wife, Nicole Kidman.
