“And he pulled up on the other side of the street and was watching over here in my yard and he pulled around two in front of my house and started saying come here, come here to my 4-year-old was right here in front of the lawn,” said Bovee.

The child in question was 4-year-old Theodore who Bovee said didn’t even seem aware of what was happening.

Bovee: “That’s when I got up and yelled and he sped off”

NEWS 10’s Zion Decoteau: “Where were you when you observed this?”

Bovee: “Right on the front porch right there on the couch.”

Bovee alerted the police and alerted others on social media. His post got over 500 shares. The Mayor’s office issued an alert to the community to be on the lookout for an

Asian male in his 40s driving a dark green Chevy pickup truck with a yellow license plate.

“I noticed that he was talking to my kid and I was like uh-uh nope I knew exactly what was just about to happen,” said Bovee.

The father of four tells me he’s had the stranger danger conversation with his children.

“I don’t like to live in fear but I’m definitely now

more very aware I never thought something like this would happen,” said Bovee.
