Festival Director Brent Anbe expressed his excitement for the event, noting that it just keeps getting “bigger and better.”

Anbe said to expect a vibrant celebration of queer culture, filmmaking and community.

He encouraged everyone to attend, promising a glamorous red carpet event on closing night at Capitol Modern, hosted by Tori Richards and Kamaka Dias.

The director of the documentary “Lady Like,” Luke Willis, shared his passion for telling queer stories that resonate with viewers. His film focuses on Lady Camden from Season 14 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

“It’s an incredible story about resilience and about perseverance. Trying to find your own place, your corner of the sky, the place where you belong in the world. And Lady Camden has searched and searched and searched through hardships, through difficulties, through family, family catastrophes. She never gave up and then when she scored, she scored really big,” said Willis.
