Spring Hill Police said the increased presence in The Crossings area is due to a suspect fleeing a traffic stop.

SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police in Spring Hill searched for a suspect who fled on foot from a traffic stop and advised the public to not be alarmed by the temporary increased police presence.

According to the Spring Hill Police Department, officers are in the area behind The Crossings were searching for Michael Pruitt, 45.

Pruitt has multiple arrest warrants out against him, according to Spring Hill police. At 6:20 p.m., residents were advised that officers had left the area of the Crossings and received a message that the search had been cancelled by Spring Hill Police.
