Did the main good guy suddenly trying to rape Mo at the end (to force her inheritance back to his kin) remove his status as the protagonist? In the west this is an instant switch to villainy. I’ve heard rape themes are not taken as seriously in Asia if the hero otherwise has strong positives going for him
He ends up losing everything right? Unless I missed something? So Mo wins?
Them looking like HiSo thais with perfect skin is I guess accepted by the audience due to white skin preferences? Most farmer types I see have rougher skin and darker tones.
