ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Russell Sage College is extending a program that’s meant to improve staffing in healthcare. The school received a $275,000 grant from Albany County and MVP Healthcare for their “I Can Achieve a Nursing Degree” program.
It gives high school students from underrepresented communities the opportunity to see what it’s like to work in healthcare by connecting them with professionals.
Russell Sage will host a free summit for local students in October.
