For the first time in program history, Campbell is the No. 1 team in the Cover2 Hawaii high school football rankings.

In a panel representing all football-playing islands, the Sabers received 10 of 20 first place votes, edging No. 2 Kahuku, which had nine.

Meanwhile, No. 3 Mililani had the remaining No. 1 vote.

Campbell (4-0), which defeated Kapolei 40-23, is idle this week before facing Mililani on Oct. 5.
