CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD)- Thousands of Lowcountry residents are without power overnight as Hurricane Helene brings heavy rain and gusty winds to the Carolinas.

Dominion Energy, Berkeley Electric Cooperative, and Santee Cooper were all reporting outages as of 3 a.m. Friday. More than 19,900 customers are affected.

Here’s how to report a power outage:

DOMINION ENERGY:

CHARLESTON COUNTY: 11,209 are without power.

COLLETON COUNTY: 6,387 are without power.

DORCHESTER COUNTY: 8,684 are without power.
