STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. (WWLP) – One person is dead after an alleged hit-and-run incident in Stockbridge Saturday morning.
According to the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office, emergency crews were called to Route 102 around 7 a.m. Saturday for reports of an unresponsive man on the side of the road. He was pronounced dead shortly after first responders found him.
Based on evidence collected, it appears the incident was a hit-and-run. First responders determined the victim was riding an electric scooter when he was struck by a vehicle.
