Mayor Virginia “Ginny” Desorgher and the Greenfield Community and Economic Development Department launched this initiative to bolster the city’s vibrant business community as the fall tourism season approaches. The free lunch parking plan received support from the city’s Parking and Traffic Commission, which voted in favor of the initiative on August 27.

“Our downtown is a beautiful space that features a wealth of tremendous businesses,” said Mayor Desorgher. “Making our largest parking resource more accessible is a great way to support businesses as we approach the busy fall season.”

Here is a breakdown of parking changes at the Olive Street Parking Garage:

Free Parking:

Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Weekends

Parking on the fourth floor (weather permitting, typically open from April to November)
