UBS Global Wealth Management restructured its Thailand coverage after market head Boriboon Niyomsathien’s departure, promoting Kwankamol Thongyai to business sector head, effective October 1.
UBS Global Wealth Management has restructured its Thailand market coverage following the exit of its market head, as noted in an internal memo obtained by Citywire Asia.
Boriboon Niyomsathien, who was based in Singapore, departed the firm after more than six years of service. In response, Kwankamol Thongyai has been promoted to head the business sector in GWM Thailand, effective from October 1. Thongyai will report directly to Jin Yee Young, the co-head for the region.
A spokesperson for UBS confirmed the details outlined in the memo regarding these leadership changes.
