A man accused of sexually abusing a child is the newest addition to Nashville’s list of “Most Wanted” fugitives.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man accused of sexually abusing a child is the newest addition to Nashville’s list of “Most Wanted” fugitives.

This list is updated every Wednesday on the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) Criminal Warrants Division’s Facebook page. According to detectives, those featured on the list are often considered to be some of the “most violent” offenders in the city.

Of the suspects on this week’s list, all but two are wanted for either homicide, murder or charges related to alleged sex crimes. The rest of Nashville’s “Most Wanted” suspects are accused of crimes such as aggravated assault, aggravated robbery and evading arrest.

While the search for these suspects continues, the list has aided police in several arrests. Last month, detectives were able to track down 27-year-old Quierra Spear, who had been on the list since August for warrants related to a shooting and car chase.

According to investigators, a fight a few months earlier in July had led Spear to follow a woman in her car and fire shots at the victim’s vehicle, coming within feet of hitting the driver and two children that were in the car.

In total, at least 134 “Most Wanted” fugitives have been arrested since the program was launched on Oct. 19, 2022. Investigators have largely attributed the program’s success to tips they’ve received from the public.

Below is a list of the suspects who made the police department’s “Most Wanted” list the week of Oct. 2, 2024.

At number one, Dadiri Muhina, 23, is considered this week’s “Top Most Wanted” fugitive, according to the MNPD. This is the fourth week in a row Muhina has appeared on the list.

Authorities said Muhina is wanted after having been indicted by a grand jury on multiple felony charges. The charges against him include first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, solicitation to commit first-degree murder, attempted murder and tampering with evidence.

Court records show the charges are related to a September 2021 shooting in which 16-year-old Ja’Niya Birdsong was killed, and a 17-year-old girl was injured. Family members told News 2 multiple young men were involved in an argument with the two teens before shots rang out.

Birdsong was pronounced dead that night in the driveway of her grandmother’s home in the Paragon Mills neighborhood. Her family said she was a junior at Hillsboro High School and hoped to one day become a hairstylist. The other teen reportedly survived her injuries.

Initially, the only link to a suspect was a light-colored sedan that was seen leaving the area. However, six suspects, including Muhina, have since been identified.

As their investigation progressed, detectives said they found text messages between the suspects regarding their plans to destroy the car used in the alleged homicide. Muhina and the other suspects are also accused of conspiring to hire someone to kill a witness.

Adrian Cameron, 19, has reportedly been on the run since mid-April. He’s appeared at the top of the list for several months as police continue to search for him in connection with the death of 32-year-old rapper Chris King.

King’s friends told police it started out “cordial,” but after some time, the three suspects allegedly tried to rob them. That’s when gunfire ran out, injuring King and his 29-year-old friend.
