CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A police perimeter has been set up around a Clarksville hotel Wednesday afternoon amid a barricade situation.
The Clarksville Police Department said it received a 911 call just after 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2 about an unwanted guest in one of the rooms at Country Inn & Suites in the 3000 block of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

According to authorities, the unwanted guest became a barricaded suspect inside the room.
Shortly before 2:30 p.m., officials announced that crisis negotiators are trying to communicate with him. The adjacent rooms have also been evacuated.
