ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The NCAA announced future regional locations for various sports on Wednesday. The University of New Mexico was selected to host a few, including men’s and women’s cross country in 2026 and men’s golf in 2028.

2026 will mark the seventh time that the Lobos will host the cross country regional under the current format adopted in 1997. The last time the event was hosted by UNM in 2022, the women’s team won the title. It will be held November, 13 at the UNM North Golf Course.
The selection for men’s golf is the sixth since 1989 and first since 2021. The tournament will take place May 15-17, 2028 at the UNM championship course.
