HONOLULU (KHON2) — A 76-year-old man has been arrested for arson in connection with a brush fire that erupted along Kamehameha Highway in Haleiwa.
The fire department reported that the blaze started on Tuesday, burning approximately ten acres.
Investigators discovered multiple incendiary devices between mile markers two and three, raising concerns about the cause of the fire.
The suspect was apprehended in Wahiawa today.
He has not been formally charged.
