The investigation was started after the Drug Task Force and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Officer received numerous complaints about drug activity around the area. Investigators said complaints included narcotic and dangerous drug sales taking place at all hours of the day on Main Street and South Clinton Streets by numerous individuals.

Drug Task Force Agents then began purchasing cocaine and fentanyl from the three separate people. This resulted in a search warrant being issued for 407 Main Street, a vehicle and for the three men.

Members of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit with the assistance of the City of Poughkeepsie Police and New York State Police executed the warrant on Thursday. The three men were arrested, and large quantities of crack cocaine and fentanyl were seized.
