Game of the Week

The week seven game of the week featured a matchup a two one-loss teams. Los Lunas hosted Albuquerque High looking to gain ground in district 2, and the Tigers came out on top 28-7.

The Numbers Game

Through the first six weeks of the season, there is only one player in New Mexico to eclipse 1,000 yards as either a rusher or receiver. Gadsden running back Alfredo Andrade is the only player to do so with 1,046 yards. He has rushed for over 100 yards in every game on an average of 22 carries and nearly eight yards per rush. He also had 12 touchdowns entering the week.

Mesa Tractor Athlete of the Week

La Cueva quarterback Cam Dyer continues to keep the La Cueva offense clicking. In the Bears week six match against West Mesa, Dyer racked up 425 total yards and five total touchdowns.
