SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Taste of Italy festival at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Springfield will take place on Saturday.


Oktoberfest in Springfield kicks off with German food and fun

The Taste of Italy will offer over 30 favorite Italian meals, from main dishes to side dishes and even an exceptional dessert table for an after-meal treat. Some of the meals that will be served and their cooks are:

Food tickets will be sold at the door, and everyone will be able to choose Italian “tastes” they
prefer to buy. Food will also be available for purchase to take home.

This celebration is part of Italian Heritage Month and will begin with Mass in the Church located on William Street at 4 p.m. Dinner will held from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the South End Middle School auditorium.

Italian music will be played and a Grand Raffle and 50-50 raffle will be held at 7:00 p.m.
