ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Some local golfers took part in a friendly competition on Monday for a good cause. The Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York hosted its 21st annual golf tournament in Albany.
The tournament benefits the foundation’s programs and services. They provide support groups and counseling for people living with epilepsy in more than 20 counties.
Epilepsy is defined as having at least two recurring seizures. Advocates said it is one of the most common neurological disorders.
