ALBANY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Authorities in Clinton County are investigating after three people were found dead in a home on Lakepoint Drive just outside Albany.

Kentucky State Police were called to the scene around 10:45 a.m. on Monday following a request from local sheriff’s deputies who were conducting a welfare check at the residence.

According to KSP, the deceased have been identified as 76-year-old Linda Flowers and 78-year-old Linda Crouch, both from Albany. They were found inside the home with injuries believed to be from gunshot wounds. Outside the home, 45-year-old Brent Flowers was also discovered deceased with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The case remains under active investigation as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
