Is it me or do Thai people not remove facial moles? When I am in the BTS I will see people with moles on their nose and other highly unfavorable locations.

Is it me or do Thai people not remove facial moles? When I am in the BTS I will see people with moles on their nose and other highly unfavorable locations.
In the West, people get that removed.
In Thailand it seems, people let hair grow out of it, and stay away from it, while consuming copious amounts of filler, Botox, silicone and other face-changing surgeries.
Thailand’s not squeamish when it comes to surgery – so what’s with the moles?
Superstition perhaps?
