I’m planning to visit Thailand after spending three weeks in Vietnam in early October. My plan is to spend three nights in Chiang Mai, then take a bus to Chiang Rai for two nights before heading to Bangkok. I’m wondering if anyone has flown out from Chiang Rai airport. Is it easier to do that instead of heading back to Chiang Mai and flying out from there?
