National Grid is assisting the state of Florida with Hurricane Milton.

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – National Grid is assisting the state of Florida with Hurricane Milton.

Since September, 28th about 50 Massachusetts National Grid employees have supported restoration efforts in the Southeast after the damage brought by Hurricane Helene.

While that work is wrapping up, National Grid crews are supporting Tampa Electric. The company’s Massachusetts team will also be joined by 160 National Grid electric operation colleagues from New York, who will be assisting Duke Energy in storm preparation and response.
