Nashville authorities are investigating two separate shootings that occurred Thursday night, which both resulted in injuries.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nashville authorities are investigating two separate shootings that occurred Thursday night, which both resulted in injuries.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), officers were sent to an apartment complex in the 700 block of Bell Road just before 9 p.m. to respond reports of a shooting.
Officials said one person was taken to a local hospital to be treated for critical injuries. It remains unclear what led to the shooting and if any suspects have been identified.
Hours later, around 11:15 p.m., officers responded to the the Edgehill area after a man was shot along 14th Avenue South.
Police said the man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injures.
Additional details about the Thursday night shooting were not immediately released.
