CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – A western Massachusetts native shared photos with 22News of damage caused by tornadoes and Hurricane Milton to his Wellington, Florida neighborhood.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said there were over 100 tornado warnings with 19 confirmed touch downs before Hurricane Milton made landfall in Siesta Key around 8:30 p.m. According to the Associated Press, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said there were reports of as many as 10 killed from tornadoes, but he cautioned that the number was tentative.
