The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:

High pressure in control across the Northeast brough clear skies and lighter winds overnight, allowing morning low temperatures to fall into the 30’s and 40’s.

Now that the sun’s up, though, temperatures will warm pretty quickly. Expect comfortable afternoon highs well into the 60’s for most and less breezy conditions.

Tonight, temperatures don’t look quite as cool. Light wind out of the south means that temperatures will have a hard time falling below 50 in the Capital District, with the mountains only in the 40’s.

Tomorrow looks like another comfortably warm afternoon, but with more and more wind – gusts could be pushing 30 miles per hour!

Rain returns to the area Sunday. Monday could be especially impactful in terms of weather, with rain and wind in the valleys… and some mountain snow or wintry mix!

Tuesday and Wednesday are drier, but still cool and awfully breezy and blustery at times.

Finally, calmer conditions return on Thursday of next week. It will be a frosty start with lows in the 50’s – but the afternoon will see near-60 degree temps return.
