SUNDERLAND, Mass. (WWLP) – Fall tourism is very important for the economy here in western Massachusetts this time of year.

22News Storm Team Meteorologist Adam Strzempko is working for you with how the weather we have during the fall season is important for those visiting our state.

We have seen some great weather this fall and that has been good news for area farms. Massachusetts Executive Office of Development Secretary Yvonne Hao made a number of stops across western Massachusetts Friday including Mike’s Maze at Warner Farm in Sunderland.

“In the fall, tourism is very important to us and the maze which started off as a very humble operation 24 years ago has turned into an important part of our operation,” says Mike Wissemann, owner of Warner Farm.

Having nice weather this time of year is also very important for business and unlike last year, Mike’ Maze has benefited from the mainly dry weather we’ve had this fall.
