SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – In Springfield Friday night, the community gathered for the second annual C.R.E.W. Gala.

The non-profit consists of 20 African American men who empower the community through education, culture, and career advice.

Dozens of people gathered at the Sheraton–raising money for the non-profit’s scholarship funds and youth programs. It also serves as a networking event for friends, family, and members. President of C.R.E.W. Wayman Lee told 22News, “We give out two senior scholarships every year to two seniors in the springfield location.”
