KINDERHOOK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A celebration of local flowers and early fall blooms is taking place in Kinderhook on Saturday. An antiques and gift shop celebrating the autumn season is inviting visitors to step back in time inside an historical property while they shop.
The Mercantile at the Vanderpoel House is hosting The Dahlia Event, selling flowers from the Damsel Garden in Stuyvesant, as well as goodies from Old Chatham’s Crummy Baker and Kinderhook’s Dough & Batter.
Melissa Davis from the Columbia County Historical Society stopped by NEWS10 with a preview of the event, which runs from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.
