Officials are considering the death as a homicide.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – On Sunday, authorities said they’re investigating a homicide in the East Mountains area.
The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said there were shots fired reported near Tijeras. When officials responded, they found a dead person. One person was taken into custody.
The sheriff’s office said there are no outstanding suspects, and the investigation is being conducted as a homicide.
