The woman was charged with second-degree homicide, according to the Murfreesboro Police Department.
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — Murfreesboro police announced the arrest of a woman in connection with a deadly Sunday shooting.
Police said at around 2 p.m. on Sunday, there was a deadly shooting at The Southern – Apartment Homes on Lascassas Pike.
A preliminary investigation suggested 27-year-old Jaleel Turner was shot once inside an apartment there after an argument with Shaquira Brown, 22. Brown was charged with second-degree homicide. As of publication, she is being held on a $750,000 bond at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.
Her hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 8.
