Just after 9 a.m. Monday, officers were called to Cerrillos Rd. near Don Diego Ave. for a possible aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. When police arrived they spoke to a witnesses and learned the man was armed with a machete. Police were able to locate and arrest 35-year-old Javin Garcia. He now faces charges for armed robbery and tampering with evidence.
