There are 13 different locations to cast your ballot early in Davidson County.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Wednesday marks the start of the early voting period in Tennessee, allowing registered voters in the state the chance to cast their ballot before Election Day.
In Davidson County, voters can cast an early ballot at any of 13 different locations in order to skip the lines on Election Day.
Early voting runs daily through Thursday, Oct. 31, except on Sundays, according to the Davidson County Election Commission. Polls open each day at 8 a.m. but close at different times depending on the day.
The 13 different early voting polling places are:
Bellevue Library – 720 Baugh Road, Nashville 37221
Bordeaux Library – 4000 Clarksville Pike, Nashville 37218
Casa Azafran Community Center – 2195 Nolensville Pike, Nashville 37211
Edmondson Pike Library – 5501 Edmondson Pike, Nashville 37211
Goodlettsville Library – 205 Rivergate Parkway, Goodlettsville 37072
Green Hills Library – 3701 Benham Avenue, Nashville 37215
Hermitage Library – 3700 James Kay Lane, Hermitage 37076
Hillwood High School – 6215 Hickory Valley Road, Nashville 37205
Lentz Public Health Center – 2500 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville 37209
Madison Library – 610 Gallatin Pike South, Madison 37115

State law allows for a 14-day early voting period prior to the Nov. 5 State and Federal General Election.

Thursday, Oct. 17: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 18: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 19: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 21: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 22: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 23: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 24: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 25: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 26: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 28: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

While everyone in Tennessee will make their selection for president and Congress in this election, Davidson County voters will also see the transit referendum on their ballots.
The ballot in Goodlettsville, Forest Hills and Belle Meade will also have local municipal elections for city commissioners.
