MONSON, Mass. (WWLP) – A portion of Beebe Road in Monson was closed Thursday morning due to a police investigation.


Jury finds Springfield man guilty in child sexual assault case

According to the Monson Police Department, Beebe Road was closed between Town Farm Road and Old Reed Road at around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. Police say that they were assisting the Massachusetts State Police in an investigation.

Due to the narrow road and the amount of police vehicles, traffic was detoured until around 10:45 a.m. Monson Police said that there was no threat to the public.
