ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico’s largest school district wants to gather public input on next year’s budget. Albuquerque Public Schools will host a listening tour later this month to learn more about how they can use their money more effectively.
The first event is on October 24 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Berna Facio Professional Development Center on Louisiana Blvd. The other meeting is on October 29 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Jimmy Carter Middle School. The budget must be completed by the spring to present it to state education officials.
