LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – In Longmeadow, Second Chance Animal Services celebrated its third annual Cocktails for Tails event Friday evening.
The fundraiser helps support the non-profit’s programs and services across Springfield.
This year’s fundraiser also included a comedy show, as well as dinner and a silent auction. With the support of the community, Second Chance can assist 49,000 animals each year. “We rely heavily on donations of funds, items, raising money, that’s how we’re able to offer so many services in the community,” says Chief Development Officer Lindsay Doray.
Second Chance will run an online auction for the event until Monday.
