Officials said a second person has died after a fire Wednesday at an apartment fire at an apartment complex on Broadway in Schenectady.
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Officials said a second person has died after a fire Wednesday at an apartment fire at an apartment complex on Broadway in Schenectady.
City officials said one victim was found dead in a first floor apartment. A second person was rescued from a second floor unit and taken to Ellis Hospital before being transferred to the Westchester Medical Center Burn Unit.
According to the Schenectady fire chief, that person has passed away. The chief also said the damaged building was taken down.
