In a matchup of two top-10 teams that are unbeaten in 6A district 1, Rio Rancho hosted Volcano Vista. The Hawks soared to a 33-0 win.

“The score I’m pleased with,” said Volcano Vista head coach Chad Wallin. The guys up front on the defensive line and backers are really getting after their running backs, our offensive line is creating holes for us to run the ball.”
