BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Located just south of Saratoga Springs in Ballston Spa, Dakota Ridge Farm is situated on 42 acres. If you want to soak up the fall foliage in a fun way, sign up for one of their popular llama treks.

It all began in 1990, when Gary Capasso bought his wife Katrina a llama named Dakota as a wedding present. From one llama to now more than 65 llamas.

Each trek is private so you can do it solo or with a group, and by appointment only. Each person is paired up with one llama partner. If you’re under the age of ten, you can share your llama with an adult.

The farm is booking treks out until the end of November, weather permitting. Want to take a llama trek? Do you want to schedule a farm visit? You can email Katrina Capasso or visit their website.
