MADISON, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nashville fire crews worked to contain a house fire in Madison early Monday morning.

The fire was reported in Heritage Circle just before 5 a.m.

When crews entered the home, they discovered a fire in the crawl space. They were able to keep it contained in that area and eventually extinguish it.

During the incident, firefighters found a dog in a kennel and brought it outside of the house. The residents were not home at the time, and no injuries were reported at the scene.

Investigators believe the fire may have started with a fan in the bedroom.
