ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – You’ve seen firefighters rescuing cats from trees but Albuquerque Fire Rescue was able to rescue a cat from an HVAC unit. According to AFR, the cat was found in a northwest area home after the owners noticed their cat had been missing for several hours but they could still hear meowing from the ductwork.


Car hits garage attached to home, AFR reports

Crews used thermal cameras trying to locate the feline. They could not see the cat but could hear it. Crews went to the roof and found the cat in the blower cage of the cooler. The cat was not injured.
