Big Island police are seeking information for a murder investigation in Ocean View after a man was found dead with suspicious injuries.
OCEAN VIEW, Hawaii (KHON2) — Big Island police are seeking information for a murder investigation in Ocean View after a man was found dead with suspicious injuries.
On Friday, Oct. 18 shortly after 1 p.m., police responded to a report of a deceased man on the 92-9000 block of Tiki Lane in the Hawaii Ocean View Estates subdivision.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the body of a deceased Caucasian man who is believed to be in his 50s with fatal injuries.
After a preliminary investigation, officials believed the man’s injuries were “suspicious in nature and not accidental.”
The victim has yet to be identified.
Area II Criminal Investigation Section detectives remained at the scene to continue the second-degree murder investigation.
