HADDAM, Conn. (WWLP) – Connecticut State Police’s K-9 Nash helped to locate a missing man who needed medical attention on Friday.


Enfield police captures four suspects in stolen vehicle

According to the Connecticut State Police, troopers were called to a missing person investigation Friday morning. The vehicle of the believed missing person was found abandoned on Route 9 Northbound in Haddam.

The search for the missing person had been unsuccessful, so TFC Rutkowski and his partner, K-9 Nash, were sent to conduct a track from the vehicle. After searching several hundred yards into the wooded shoulder of the highway, the missing man was located and needed immediate medical treatment.

Troopers carried the man out of the woods and he was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
