City Councilors Tammy Fiebelkorn and Daniel Champine introduced a bill in August, calling on the city to create a working group made up of representatives from multiple city departments, to develop new policy about A.I. and its uses in the city. At Monday’s city council meeting some councilors expressed concern the group will be too large to work efficiently. Others said a large group, involving community members along with city officials, is necessary to create fair policy.
Councilors ultimately voted to approve the resolution.
