SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – Dozens of students and people from the community gathered at Mount Holyoke College Tuesday for a panel on ‘What to Expect in the 2024 US Elections’.

State Senator Jacob Oliveira attended as panelists discussed international relations, law, and the election process.

“I want to have kind of a better understanding of how to understand what’s happening as the results come in”, says Eliana Goldwasser, a student at Mount Holyoke College.

“We know that a vote is your voice and our students have been doing a big campaign about the power of voting for students. So we wanted to give them lots of information about the 2024 election”, says Danielle R. Holley, President of Mount Holyoke College.

No matter the outcome, history will be made.

Kamala Harris could become the first woman and woman of color to be elected, or Donald Trump could be the second president to re-enter the Oval Office following non-consecutive terms.

The last day to register to vote online, in person, or by mail is October 26th.
