Officials said the County-owned land will undergo a three-day transformation starting on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

The County plans to remove trash, invasive trees and abandoned vehicles in Ukumehame in collaboration with Malama Maui Nui and Kane’s Legacy Tree Services.

In addition, officials said water quality testing is being done by the University of Hawaii Maui College.
