In honor of STEM week, the Healey Administration announced it will award $17 million for career and technical education equipment improvements across the state.

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – In honor of STEM week, the Healey Administration announced it will award $17 million for career and technical education equipment improvements across the state.

Three western Massachusetts vocational and technical schools will receive STEM grants, including Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School, Taconic High School, and Westfield Technical Academy.

In a statement this week, Governor Healey said quote, “Massachusetts is a leader in innovation, and to maintain our competitive edge, we must continue investing in the next generation of workers, particularly in stem-related fields.”
