Two women arrested in Enfield Spa prostitution operation

34-year-old Francisco Ortiz faces multiple charges in connection to his daughter’s death including assault and battery. Ortiz called first responders to his home last week saying his daughter fell from the kitchen counter.

Now, prosecutors say when police got there the girl’s body was cold and covered in bruises. An autopsy found rib and skull fractures in various stages of healing. Prosecutors say two other children were home at the time and claim one tested positive for fentanyl.

Those children are now in state custody. Ortiz is being held without bail.
