SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Tech Foundry hosted its 10th-anniversary gala at MGM Springfield Thursday evening, celebrating the organization’s accomplishments in this past decade.
The mission of Tech Foundry is to help people achieve economic stability through equitable, accessible, and inclusive opportunities in the tech workforce.
CEO Tricia Canavan tells 22News, “We know that Massachusetts has a workforce crisis and the forecast for 2030 indicates that need to train, retrain, and recruit an upscale of 162,000 and 300,000 workers in Massachusetts to meet the needs in our economy and retain employers here.”
The CEO told 22News that to date, Tech Foundry has trained over 500 students and has worked with over 100 employers.
